Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 6 tbsp cold butter, cubed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 lb sausage
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Make Biscuits: Mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Add buttermilk until dough comes together.
- Bake: Drop spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake at 425°F for 12-15 minutes until golden.
- Cook Sausage: Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Make Gravy: Sprinkle flour over sausage, stir, then add milk. Simmer until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Serve: Split warm biscuits and smother with gravy.
